Affordable Care for Your Loved One

Navigating all of the paperwork for your loved ones care may seem overwhelming. We are here to assist you in any way that you need and make it as easy as possible.

Spend a Trial Day with Us

Each potential participant is invited to spend a trial day at the center at no cost. They are welcome to socialize, join in activities and share a meal with participants. Finding the right caregiving solution is a difficult task, and we encourage families to try Trinity Living Center and see if we are the right fit.

Program fees range from $63 to $73 per day, depending on the needs of the participant, and transportation fees are $6 per one-way trip. Bathing is also available at $22 per bath. Financial assistance is often available for those who are eligible.

Financial Assistance

Assistance with the cost of day services is available through a number of service agencies and scholarship funds. Below is a list of funding sources. Eligibility requirements for each program vary.

Community Alternative Program (CAP)

Any elderly or disabled person over the age of 18 may be eligible for financial assistance with adult day services through the Community Alternative Program (CAP).

CAP recipients must reside in Rowan County and be financially eligible for or receiving Medicaid. For more information about CAP call 704-216-7704. CAP will fund up to 5 days a week of care at Trinity Living Center.

Family Caregiver Support Program

The FCSP helps with caregivers needing respite. The funds are temporary and can be used while waiting for assistance from other, more permanent sources. For more information, call 704-216-7704 for the FCSP Care Manager.

Rowan County Department of Social Services

The State Adult Day Care Fund (SADCF) and Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) assist with the cost of adult day services. For more information about these funds, call DSS at 704-216-8331 and tell them you are interested in adult day care and wish for your name to be added to their waiting list.

Scholarship Fund

Program participants and families experiencing unusual circumstances, hardship or simply needing more respite on a temporary basis should contact Trinity Living Center’s Director for possible assistance through the Scholarship Fund. This scholarship was established to help families pay for extra days of care on a temporary basis.

VA Adult Day Health Care

Individuals eligible for services through the Veterans Administration may be eligible for financial assistance with the cost of adult day services. Discuss eligibility for financial assistance with your VA social worker by calling 704-638-9000 and asking for your team’s social worker (Silver, Bronze, Green etc.). If you are not currently enrolled in the VA Primary Care Clinic, ask the social worker for guidance with enrollment.
